The phone is a way of inhabiting the city in an imaginary
way. The map constructed is based on the typical phone
calls that I make and my memory of what they look like.
It is a way to build an image of the city based on the
connections that are made from the phone. A telephone
is a line, with that line, what kind of image can be
constructed of the city based on my memory and imagination?
To use the construct an image, roll your mouse over
different points on the map to reveal places. Click
and hold down your mouse to grow those line drawings.
